How Do I Book In?

All bookings, cancellations, and modifications are managed through the free and user-friendly Jane App. Click the link above.

Do you offer free consultants? Yes- go to booking page and select a connect and chat. Or send an email to requst.

What Does Scheduling Look Like?

Sessions can be booked weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or as needed.

Appointments are scheduled between Thursday and Friday 8 am- 6pm, and alternating Wendesdays.

Ensure that any cancellations are made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $75 late cancellation or no-show fee.

Email reminder is sent 3 days prior, and a text message reminder 3 hours before.

How Does Insurance Work?

Registered Social Workers (RSW) are accepted by a wide variety of insurance plans! Below are some examples, but this is not an exhaustive list. Always check your insurance coverage prior to your first appointment. If direct billing is not available, you simply need to submit your receipt yourself for reimbursement.

Direct Billing: Alberta Blue Cross, ASEBP, Manulife, Green Sheild, Canada Life, Mediave, and Various Telus Eclaims

Parking and Accessibility?

We are located in gasoline alley. There is a large lot with open, free parking. Once inside the building, you can use the elevator or stairs to reach the 2nd floor and look for Suite 206 Social Shift Therapy and Wellness. Then, enter the waiting room where you can sit, make a drink, or use the bathroom as needed. The doorway widths are standard size. If you have a wheelchair or walker and need additional information or assistance please contact me to make arrangements.

How is my privacy protected?

I utilize a practice management system called JaneApp, which is PIPEDA/HIPAA compliant. All client information, including notes and scheduling, is maintained on this platform, and I am the only person able to access it. If you have more questions about this, feel free to ask!​

What do I need to set up for telehealth sessions?
-
You will need a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, and a space in your home where you feel comfortable sharing your experience. Headphones can be helpful as well. We will utilize the JaneApp telehealth platform, which can be accessed with an app on your phone/tablet or via a link on your computer.

Do you prescribe medications?

Do you offer a sliding scale?

No, but we direct bill Blue Cross and are accepted by a wide array of insurance providers.
