Perimenopause & Menopause

Therapy for women navigating hormonal shifts, identity changes, and life transitions

Perimenopause and menopause can feel overwhelming—not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and relationally. Many women describe this stage of life as a “full-system shift” that impacts mood, energy, confidence, and the sense of who they are. You don’t have to navigate that alone.
In therapy, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and regain a sense of steadiness and control.

Common concerns I help with
-
Anxiety, irritability, emotional reactivity
-
Mood changes or feeling unlike yourself
-
Sleep difficulties, racing thoughts, or nighttime panic
-
Changes in identity, confidence, or body image
-
Stress, burnout, and exhaustion

-
ADHD symptoms that worsen during hormonal shifts
-
Feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or alone in the process
How therapy can help
Hormonal transitions aren’t “all in your head,” but they do impact your nervous system, thoughts, emotions, and relationships. My approach combines mental health support with practical, evidence-informed strategies tailored to this phase of life.
Together, we can work on:
-
Understanding the emotional and cognitive changes that come with hormone fluctuations
-
Reducing anxiety, irritability, and overwhelm
-
Strengthening emotional regulation skills
-
Supporting sleep, stress, and burnout recovery
-
Navigating changes in relationships, parenting, and identity
-
Reconnecting with your strengths, purpose, and sense of self
-
Creating sustainable routines and supports during a demanding life stage
A compassionate, holistic, and validating space
You deserve a place where you can be honest about what’s shifting—physically, mentally, and emotionally—without being dismissed or told it’s “just hormones.” In our sessions, I honour your lived experience and help you explore what’s happening through a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and compassionate lens.
You’re not losing yourself—you're transitioning into a new chapter
Perimenopause and menopause can be disorienting, but they can also be a time of reclaiming, rebalancing, and redefining. With the right support, women often find clarity, confidence, and emotional steadiness again.
If you’re ready to better understand what you’re going through and feel more grounded in your day-to-day life, I’m here to help.
